ICSS System Upgrade

GSYS provided an ICSS system upgrade to an existing gas plant based in Cameroon. The project took in converting the control system from a Siemens S7-300 / Intouch SCADA based system to a redundant S7-400FH PCS7 based system. The new system included an upgrade to the existing ICSS panels to accommodate the new PLC’s and new well pad remote ICSS panels for two new wells. The system availability was further expanded to include redundant server stations as well as redundant operator stations to ensure maximum uptime for the plant going forward.

Low Voltage Switchgear

GSYS also supplied a low voltage switchboard, hazardous area junction boxes as well as cable and bulk MTO items for the installation. Panels were all export packed for air freight to meet tight project schedules.

Onsite Support & Commissioning

GSYS were on hand both prior to and during the shutdown to ensure a smooth transition from one system to another which was completed in a matter of hours with no down time for our clients customers.
