Production Barge & Well Head ICSS Cambodia
Complete Turnkey LER, ICSS & Power Distribution Package
GSYS were contracted to design and supply a fully modularised Control Room, ICSS System, Normal and Essential Power Distribution and UPS Local Equipment Rooms to a floating production barge and fixed well head platform based offshore near Cambodia. The project included:
- Modular Control Room LER complete with Operator stations, ESD panels, HVAC & damper system, coalescing filters and fire detection.
- Main Equipment Room containing, redundant server stations, Process and Safety ICSS panels, 12m Normal Distribution Switchboard, HVAC & damper system, coalescing filters, fire detection and Inergen fire suppression system
- Essential Equipment Room containing a 8m Essential Distribution Switchboard, Inergen fire suppression system, 40KVA Eaton marine UPS, battery system in separate room complete with air conditioning, hazardous area ventilation & damper system.
- Main Well head LER, complete with power distribution, Process Control and Safety Shutdown ICSS panels, UPS, ventilation and Inergen fire Suppression system.
- Supply of 2off 1MVA MV/LV transformers.
The solution was based on dual redundant s7-400H processors with ET200SP HA IO for Process Control and dual redundant s7-400F/H processors with ET200M IO for Safety and Fire and Gas detection. Communication to the wellhead platform located 150m from the production barge used an enterprise wireless solution with dual connections and low latency.
GSYS also provided technical consultancy services to the incumbent field design supplier on the production barge operating in a multi-national team. GSYS was further awarded the field design engineering contract for the well head system.
On site commissioning
GSYS personnel were on hand both in the shipyard in Singapore during build and offshore during commissioning to ensure smooth start-up.
